🥳NEW STORMWATER DRAINAGE TUNNEL: The City of Charleston will begin a $14 million project in the next few months to build an underground stormwater drainage tunnel to address flooding in the medical district. The city will pay $4 million for the project with the rest of the money coming from federal grants. The tunnel will be able to remove 3 million gallons of stormwater once built. They’re hoping to finish it the middle of next year.
